The Pakistani Army shot down another Indian spy drone that meddled in the country's airspace along the Control Line (LoC) on Sunday, Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said.
"#PakistanArmy troops shot down an Indian spy #quadcopter in the hot spring sector throughout LOC," the ISPR tweeted.
The military media wing said the quadcopter had invaded 850 meters into Pakistan's territory along the de facto border between the two states with nuclear weapons.
"The quadcopter had invaded 850 meters on the Pakistani side of #LOC. This is the ninth Indian quadcopter shot down by Pakistan Army troops this year," he added.
by Pakistan Army troops this year," it added.
This is the fourth Indian spy drone that Pakistani forces have intercepted since May this year.
Violations of the Indian truce throughout the LoC have witnessed an increase since the constitutional status of the occupied Indians Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ & K) was repealed in August last year.
Earlier this month, DG ISPR Major General Iftikhar had warned that India was planning a false flag operation against Pakistan and that the results of any misadventure would be "out of anyone's control" and would be responded to with all their force.
He had also said that the situation throughout the LoC is troubling and that India had violated the ceasefire agreement many times in recent times.
