Afridi makes startling claim about Indian team asking for forgiveness from Pakistan

Former Pakistani cricket team captain Shahid Afridi has made a surprising claim that Indian cricketers have apologized to the men in green multiple times after losing the cricket match against Pakistani players.

Afridi, in an interview with Cric Cast on YouTube, said that he has always liked playing against arch-rivals and that on some occasions when he dominated Pakistan, the neighbors apologized.

"I have always liked playing against India. I think we have defeated them so much that they used to ask us for forgiveness after the game," Afridi said.

"I really enjoyed playing against India and Australia, you have more pressure. They are great teams."

The ex-cricket player's comment is likely to spark a reaction on the other side of the border.

It is worth mentioning that in the Test format, Pakistan won 12 of 59 matches against India, while the men in blue won nine and the remaining 39 matches ended in a draw.

Regarding the ODI format, the Men in Green had 73 victories in 132 games.
