Cricketer-turned-commentator Ramiz Raja has told Pakistani players not to be intimidated by English players, who he says may seem "big and strong" but are actually "weak on the inside" and fear men. by Azhar Ali.
"If the Pakistani players play without fear of defeat, the series will be easier. Pakistan has always given England a difficult time," Daily Jang quoted Raja as saying.
"The English players project themselves as bigger [than they really are]. They look big and strong, but they are weak inside. They are afraid of Pakistan."
"If Azhar Ali sets the right combinations, he will win."
Raja then provided some specific advice for the Pakistani captain, hitters and bowlers, especially Mohammad Abbas.
"There may not be much swing on this course, so bowlers should focus on line and length. Starters should try to get through at least the first 20-30 overs. When hitting, Azhar Ali should forget that he is the captain, "said the 1992 World Cup winner.
"The saliva ban could make it difficult for Mohammad Abbas to be effective in England."
