ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan called a cabinet meeting on Tuesday to discuss the prevailing political and economic situation in the country.
The nine-point agenda of the Cabinet meeting was unveiled on Monday in which it was stated that the issues of coronavirus and Kashmir will be debated during the session, which will take place at 12 p.m.
The Cabinet meeting will approve the decision-making of the Economic Coordination Committee on July 16. The items on the agenda of five ministries and divisions will also be presented for approval during the meeting.
The agenda also includes amendments to the 2017 Companies Law and partnerships with the limited liability law related to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
The 1997 amendment to the Anti-Terrorism Law and the Narcotic Substances Law have also been included in the meeting's agenda.
The Cabinet will receive information on the 2020 Reorganization Law of the National Institute of Health and will approve the 2020 Law on Response to National Sanitary Emergencies.
