ISLAMABAD: Social media platforms Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, and Telegram have been suspended in Pakistan from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Interior Ministry told Geo News on Friday.
The ministry said that the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority had suspended social media platforms on its instructions.
The immediate reason for the suspension of services was not yet clear.
